There is a Dan Wesson Eco 9mm up for sale locally (about forty minutes away) Priced just below MSRP. But, I don't know anything about the ECO, other than the Dan Wesson site shows it's not a current model offering. (Actually a 1911 newbie. IF my PM-9-S ever ships, this could be my second semi). Only 50 rounds through it as GF didn't like it. Anyone using it as a concealed carry? Priced appropriately? What is there to know about the ECO-9? What do I need to know? What do I need to ask?

Looks like a '17 model, I think they discontinued these in '19. Looks in good shape as it should since the Duty Treat and anodizing are very rugged finishes but just watch as certain cleaners will blemish the Duty Treat slide, not the frame tho it is anodized). They are a bull barrel with a captured spring recoil system (I think). I don't currently have one as CCO's aren't a comfortable hold for me but I'm sure they are a good choice for carry. $1,100 is more than fair especially if it's in as good of condition as I can see thru the pics.

I just purchased mine NIB 9mm 3 weeks ago and love it. It's accurate, light weight for carry and small for concealment. I've run almost 300 rounds through it with out a hicup. Sounds like you'll have to continue the "break in period" as only 50 rounds have been shot through it. Just follow what the included manual suggests for break in. Go get it if it's still available!

I'm a little late to this party. Hope you jumped on that ECO!Mine's a .45 ACP, and it's one of my all time favorite pistols. I love 1911's and have several, but the ECO is the first I've carried in decades!
Missed this one. It was the girlfriend's. Now that he's sold it, he want's to sell his identical 45. I now have my sights on a Vigil CCO. Update on the Pre-CZ PM-9-S. After about 300 rounds, it is starting to behave itself. Only one jam in the last 100 rounds.
