I have a DW Valor and I am wanting to add a 9mm DW 1911 to the stable. I know a guy selling a LNIB DW Eco 9mm for $1,200 and I am tempted to buy! I was checking to see how the Eco 9mm compares to the the 45 DW 1911s? How is the overall quality, accuracy, and reliability of the Eco compared to the Valor. I love my Valor and was trying to find any issues if any on the Eco 9mm. Thanks for your time.

I would expect a DW 1911, either in .45 or 9mm, to function well and have good accuracy.
If you want a 9mm in 1911, I'd say that an ECO would be a good choice.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I have an ECO in 45 and it is a fine gun, accurate and comfortable to carry. If you want a Dan in 9mm an ECO is a good choice and that is a good price for one.
I prefer the 45 for hitting power and the may capacity is only one less than the 9. But if I were looking for a 9 then I'd grab an ECO no problem

Thanks for the responses and information. I don't think I can go wrong for a LNIB ECO for $1,200. I currently have a Kimber Pro Carry II 9mm and really like the gun. I will sell if I buy the DW ECO. The only drawback I see is the takedown with the Allen wrench without a plunger just like the Kimber. I prefer a traditional 1911 takedown with the plunger but no big deal.
