Hello folks,
I have been searching for info on my DW Patriot Match that I bought in 2003 around tax return time. I am at work and can not post photos right now but will soon. It says Patriot Match on it, it is a blued gun, it has fixed sights and is very accurite.
I bought this thing because the Kimber was $250 more at the time and with a wife and 4 kids to feed it was a stretch to get it. I got 3 extra power mags when I bought it and it came to around $680 IRC.
My question is, why is there no mention of the Patriot Match in any info I can find on line?
Thanks in advance for the help!

I'm not really going to answer because I can't- but I'm only familiar with the Marksman and the Expert. Is it actually embossed with "Match" or are you picking that up from the barrel? The Patriot series have match grade barrels and are stamped as such. Of course when you are able to post pictures, it will help.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

A factory fixed rear sight would probably make it a PTM (Marksman, "E" would be Expert for adjustable rear).
As noted, many DW 1911's were made with "match" barrels.
And pictures are a must!

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
