I recently picked up a pre-cz DW Point-man 1911. I'm having some issues identifying it and I'm hoping someone can help. I know its a PM1-S and that its pre CZ because it still has the cross and DW logo. I'm not certain on year and also serial # 45MJ000610. From what I see this serial# is for a black version and also it doesn't have the DW logo on the back left of the slide or the logo NYI. Any help would be appreciated. Also, let me know if I overpaid It was $1k. Thanks in advance.

It is a Pointman Major PM1-S. Serial numbers are not specific as to gun finish. I have the same pistol only about 70 numbers up and the test fired shell envelope was marked Sept. of 2002. So yours was probably around that time frame. Won't be able to pin point it. I think the NYI was only on the guns for maybe the first year of production on the 1911's.
