So I'm proud owner of NIB DW ECO in 45ACP. Have a couple of questions, if y'all will indulge me.
First, additional magazines. I know Wilson Combat are well regarded, but any other suggestions for quality additional magazines? Does anyone know the precise model / stock # for Wilson or any other manufacturer(s), as I know they need to be "Officer" style.
Next question, holster(s). This will be a carry pistol, and I've used Kydex holsters in the past for that purpose. Anyone aware of anyone making holsters specific to the ECO.
Finally, the Trijicon front blade sight vial is pretty much gone (dark). I have looked on their websight, and don't see an option to repalce, as I have the "Springfield" cut on my sights (pre 2015). I have reached out to Trijicon to see if they respond. Are there other aftermarket tritium sights that could replace the current sights without altering or milling the slide should Trijicon be unable to replace or repair the original sight?
Appreciate the patience in responding, sorry to ask so many questions, but the search function gives me a lot more results than just these questions.

Nice to have ya here.
Any mag in a 1911 officer size is what you want. Checkmate, Metalform, MecGar, Chip McCormick all make a reputable magazine.
DW or Trijicon should be able to change the lamp out in your current sight. Dawson Precision will make a tritium front sight with your specific cut. They changed to a Novak type cut around 2016.

Call them to order, if you go this route, they are very helpful and will make sure you get the correct front sight. I suggest shooting it for a while first to make sure the blade height will give you POA=POI and the thickness suits your sight pic as you will be able to change these factors with an all new sight. Hopefully you have some calipers to measure the height and thickness of the sight blade.

Great guns, love mine. DW or Trigicon should be able to replace the lamp in the existing sight. Dart covered the mag question pretty well. I like Chip McCormik mags on mine. Holsters are a personal preference. I'd call a few companies and check their offerings in the style you like.
Be sure to break in the gun properly to avoid falling and slide binding. Run it WET for first 500 rds. Use Miltec or FP 10. Clean and relive after first 50 ends and repeat a few times then go to 100 until its fully broken in. I continue to run my 1911s wet even after break in. Dont use REM oil or Hoppes, they are too thin and you risk galling.
Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Thanks to all for the welcomes and feedback. Couple of updates for ECO fans.
Trijicon can, in fact, replace the lamps in some front sights, so my slide is winging it's way to Wixom a/o today for a replacement lamp. I'm can post a picture of the front blade sight so others who have the same issue can contact Trijicon to verify they can replace your lamp if interested. They will ask you for a picture to do this before you send them the slide. instead of the original white, it will be green, but I'm fine, and in fact, prefer that. All for a whopping $20, shipping included.
Wilson magazines ordered and on the way.
Finally, in taking down the pistol, I did some "research" and determined that a 1/16th allen key is the perfect size for the guide rod hole, and more substantial than the paperclip. Have ordered some, and will PlastiDip them to prevent marring. Hope any/ all of this helps others.

I spoke to an armorer friend who suggested that for $20, it would be smarter & less expensive to send the entire slide, as it would diminish the chance to damage the slide removing and replacing the sight. I don't own a sight tool, and while I've done some minor smithing, I'd hate to screw up a pricey new toy. I'll report back as to how well Trijicon does when it returns.

You weren't kidding regarding running it "wet". Slide back from Trijicon with new lamps. First trip to the range today to verify POA - POI. First 50rds. with Miltec lube and fine. Then another 35rds with numerous failure to go into battery. Will clean and re-lubricate. Also 4 Wilson mags that were loaded for 2 weeks before being used and a bit stubborn ejecting. The good news with DW 1911's, tight tolerances. The bad news, tight tolerances. I know it requires break-in, but frustrating until I get there. The accuracy makes it worth the effort.
