This is not my gun, I don't intend to buy it and have no connection at all with the seller.
I asked if the slide was original as there are no DW markings I can see anywhere on it and the finish of the slide appears different from the frame. There are no pictures of the reverse side of the slide.
I don't think I've ever seen any DW with no markings on the slide. I suppose it's possible it was refinished and the marking obliterated.

After some internet research, I've concluded the slide has probably been refinished and the marking obliterated. I've seen pictures of a commander size Pointman with combat sights in two tone finish (black slide) and appropriate marking on the slide.

Looks a lot like this:
which is a PM1-S, a Pointman Major, a model produced for IDPA Major competition. The one you pictured has the interchangeable front DW sight. The other side of the slide probably had the "Major" marking on it. That rib is very indicative of a Major, and the S/N is pretty common to the Major's I have seen.
If someone has altered it, that's kind of a shame.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

To answer the OP's question, the slide is certainly original to the gun. It has been customized to a fixed, combat style rear, the interchangeable DW front makes it an original DW slide, and the rib makes it highly likely to be a Pointman Major slide

Thanks for the replies. It's a shame the gun was altered to replace the rear sight and refinish the slide. The first breaks the lines of the gun and the second destroys all the nice DW markings.
What's more the seller is asking a rather premium price for it. It is from an estate, so he doesn't know anything about it other than to reiterate the slide is original.
I did find this. It looks like perhaps the sight on this one might have been original. The slide doesn't look like a refinish. I saw another two tone with the target sights as well.
