just got my new Pointman 7 today and it looks awesome:) I am going to strip it down and lube it up, I would like to get a Magwel for it... My question.... anyone out there have a Stainless Pointman with a Magwel and if so what brand? Looking for something that blends well.

Thanks

Michael

I can guarantee you that the Ed Brown Snakeskin Magwell is exactly what you are looking for.

I got mine from Brownells and it is outstanding, here's a picture on my Springfield Armory project gun

I was amazed at the grip control I got, the hand just seems to slide up on the grip and then holds very firmly while shooting a Light Weight Commander. Best $100 I ever spent on a gun

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I've been using the one piece Smith & Alexander mag wells for years, I have them on all of my 1911's. Here's a pic of my non bobtail Dan Wesson 10mm Commander with an S&A on it.

I think the S&A one piece is a beautiful item, it is close to being the industry standard for a one piece add-on.

The Ed Brown is a two piece, which means that I can remove the magwell very easily, have the slimmer profile for CCW, and the Snakeskin MSH is really remarkable, light years ahead of any standard checkering. You need to feel, handle, and shoot this to appreciate it.

Both above look like nice options.  I've got S&A magwells on a couple of mine and they works great.  Whichever one you go with, this guy here has a bunch of nice grip options for really reasonable prices.  For the magwell the flat-bottom grips fit well and give it a nice finishing touch.
