So, I have been Jonesing for another 1911 as I currently am without any 45's in my stable and have found an older PM1B listed for sale or trade. My main questin with it is everything looks right except that is has a spur hammer and old style grip safety. All other PM1's I havr seen have had lightweight hammer and extended beavertail setups. Was just wondering it anyone has any experience or has seen any of the older PM1's setup with a spur hammer.
FWIW, I have offered up a very nice and hard to find Colt Official Police MKIII with 6" barrel in trade. Any thoughts on that as well? Am I offering too much/not enough? Thanks

I own PM1S #DWE106 and I am pretty sure Charger Fan has a PM1B. What you describe does not sound correct as Factory original.
FYI- the "Gun Digest Book of the 1911" by Patrick Sweeny shows #010 on the back cover,
Can't resist putting up a little "Gun Porn"
Easily the most consistently accurate centerfire pistol I've ever owned. It is factory stock, and it ROCKS!
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
