Was at the range today and the guy next to me apologized for dropping hot brass on us. I asked what he was shooting and he replied 'a Dan Wesson ECO, you may not have heard of it'. To which I replied 'yes I know about Dan Wessons although I don't yet own a 1911.' We chatted and I showed him my 741VH6 and High Standard Sentinel MKIII and we each exchanged guns and fired. He liked the 741 and I must admit that I really liked the ECO. The trigger was smooth and crisp and the gun shot dead on POA. I'm going to have to start looking to put a 1911 in the safe soon. That was a fun afternoon.

I bet that guy was surprised to find another Dan Wesson guy beside him! And now since you got a taste of that DW 1911 you are further afflicted!
And maybe the other guy is on Gunbroker right now looking for a Dan revolver.

I have a shooting buddy that swaps his CCO for my PM-1S for about 50 rounds each whenever we shoot together. Then we reluctantly swap back, the CCO is a great, light carry gun, and the PM-1S is just incapable of shooting anything but one ragged hole.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
