My new to me VBOB has Heinie sights, but the front is different -- it has a white ring around the tritium insert, which is different from any other Heinie sight set I've seen. They're not listed on the Heinie website either.
Does anyone know where CZ/Dan Wesson gets those front sights? I have Heinie sights on two other 1911s and would like to get the white outlined Heinie front sight for those as well.

It's possible that Heine is not actually making those sights, it may be a licensed item made by someone else. DW in Norwich should be able to direct you to a source.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Have you visited the Dan Wesson section of the http://www.1911forum.com at all? There are quite a few regulars there who are big Dan Wesson 1911 fans.
I do believe that on the new Valors the rear sights are now made by inhouse by Dan Wesson Firearms. I do not know about the fronts.
