It should be an Honor to serve the people in your district. You should not be paid, when your constituents probably have to pay for everything you do. Oh and don't even get me started on your benefits package..

Our elected Bottom Feeders should be required to use exactly the same facilities and policies for medical care that are inflicted on Active Duty Military and dependents

I have worked all of my life served proudly in the Marine Corps bronze star,purple heart...mean while those morons in Washington make more money then I will ever see and can probably give themselves a raise ...looks like we need some kind of control on what they can make and how long they can hold office ...and yes don't get me started on how they treat our vets

Would be interesting for the moron congressman to give the figures on his lifetime retirement package. Then let him try to explain why he thinks he is under paid. Our founders thought that public service was just that, unpaid volunteer, do your public service term then go home. NOT to make it a lifetime job with big salaries and huge retirement plans. There needs to be term limits with a MAX time of eight years, maybe then we could get rid of some of the crooks in Washington.
