After 24 years, Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Arizona has lost to a democrat. This can't be good for Arizona...I guess now the citizens of AZ will see just how much he did to try and curb the illegal problem there. I'm sure it won't take long.
Congrats to Trump! He definitely wasn't the one I was rooting for a few months ago, but he is (I hope) better than having four more years of Barry. Speaking of which, I would have loved to be a fly on the wall in Barry's room when the results came in!

I truly believe we are much better off. For the first time in a long time I have "HOPE" . Alright Donald don't screw this up.
As for Sheriff Joe, I am a fan. Maybe Donald will give him a cabinet spot.
As for Hillary, good ridance!!!

I agree, when I woke up yesterday and saw the results, it felt as though I could breathe again! I'm sure that's the case for most, if not all of us. All these months worrying about Hillary as president and the fate of the nation can really take it out of a guy, so to feel that relief is awesome!
Another thing I am glad for...I am SO glad I don't live in Kalifornia! Two more new restrictive gun laws, to pile onto the stack of stupid laws.

I don't do politics online, except maybe here.
Donald Trumps' win was, for me:
Shocking
Bewildering
Exciting
He can be a real douche bag, some amount of that is interesting and thought provoking.
I hope he understands how important it will be to get beyond being "The Donald", and get to being OUR President. I'm very OK with shaking up government/politics, etc., I'm not OK with blowing up the World.
And having a pretty hot looking First Lady, well...
Yeah, I'm a Pig
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

That's the perfect appointment for Christie, Photo!
I agree Steve, I hope he will be very focused on trying to unite ALL Americans. I will say that it's pretty encouraging to see that the Repub's in the House & Senate seem to be very willing to join in on fixing the mess...and a few Dem's too, so far. I hope that continues, and I hope there won't be a bunch of theatrics as his administration brings changes to the table. I know, I'm dreaming on that one.
I'm up for a hot looking first lady as well! Hehe

I hate it for Sheriff Joe. No doubt he saved a ton of people from getting robbed or raped. State of Arizona already has no sanctuary laws and the Phoenix city council just voted to uphold state law. As for Donald, I proudly confess that I voted straight ticket republican. No fnn way could I possibly vote for Billery and still call myself an American. Too many "suicides" follow her around. Looking back at the conservative choices who else could have beaten Billery. Certainly not low energy Jeb who thought he had it locked up.. Ted was the only other candidate who could have come close. And, if you thought the conservative establishment was rough on Donald you can imagine what they would have done to Ted.
Looking back I know I made the right decision for my children and grandson. Supreme Court is way too important to let Barry or Billery make that decision. Thank you Mitch Mcconnell for holding out. Barry already made a mockery of it with his two choices.
No matter how you feel about the "Donald" the keyword I heard from him was JOBS!!! I can't remember Billery ever saying it on the campaign trail.
stay safe,
