My new full sized 1911 looks like it's got it all! Thanks for the great lead from Snake-eye. It has quite a few small light scratches and one big slide stop scratch and looks like it was shot a bit but very clean and well kept. I love the rib. Can't wait to get it to the range. Anyone know what that dark wood is? And the sights? are they the Millet?

Nice!!! the sight is a millet, the grips appear to be rosewood or possibly coco bolo.   Around 2008 I passed on one just like it for around $600.00. Been kicking myself ever since.

Thank you guys, I was thinking rosewood on the grips too. My Patriot CBOB came with coco bolo and they look a bit more of a barn-red. Nice to have a full size 1911 around the house again. The ECO is now tempting me to round out with an officer model. Gotta have at least one of each, right?

It should also have the DW interchangeable front sight, which is a major PITA on a 1911.

LockTite is your friend!

The interchangeable front is not up to the cycling of a 1911, if you don't LockTite the screw in place, you will slowly lose Point of Aim, and eventually your front sight.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Yes it does have the interchangeable front sight. That opens up some interesting options. Thanks for the tip. This is a beautiful pistol. I feel it's going to become a favorite.

This gun was featured on the back cover of the Gun Digest of the 1911 by Patrick Sweeny

If you flip to the back cover, you will see a familiar "face"

BTW, mine is #0106

Absolutely gorgeous! Really like the Clark rib on the PM.
