Hey guys,
I just had a quick question. I just bought my first 1911 abs my first Dan Wesson in a new Dan Wesson Razorback. I just finished shooting 200 rounds and I am still having about 3 or 4 failure to feeds every 50 rounds. I was just wondering if this was normal during my break in period? I field strip and oil every fifty rounds, I am using the recommended oil and bore cleaner as well. I am using my two DW mags that came with my gun, as well as a Wilson Combat mag. One mag doesn't seem to be causing more issues than the other, they are all pretty much even. My first failure to feed was actually with the Wilson Combat magizine.
I'm sure that I am overthinking this like I do with everything, but I figured I'd ask some people with more knowledge than I have. I plan to cycle my side plenty of times when I field strip and clean her tonight.

What ammo are you using? Do you have a pic of the FTF?

I’m no expert, but I’ve read in the past not to break in a new 1911 overly wet so the parts wear in together and begin to work together better. I believe it takes around 500 rounds for break in. Someone here will know more than me!
