I just picked up the January 1969 Issue of Guns and Hunting magazine (The file is about 5MB). Theres an article by Mason Williams titled 'Introducing The New Dan Wesson Guns'. Very interesting article about Dan setting up the new company and importing shotguns and air rifles from Brno Works in Czechoslovakia. Later in the article it mentions the new revolver that will be release by the time the article hit the news stands.
This might be a question for Seth but wonder why they stopped doing the shotguns. I've never seen one and Google turned up nothing on them.
This is a very interesting article and hope you all find it of value as well. Below are a couple of pictures from the article.

Thanks for finding & scanning that, Jody. That helps explain why CZ had enough of an interest in DW to eventually buy the company.
I like that last paragraph in the article.
BTW, I received those '78 magazines I was talking about & so far there's at least one good article on the .357 Pistol Pak. I'll try to scan & send it to you tonight.

I got 'em scanned & sent to Jody last night. However, when I wrote that reply yesterday, I was at work...I screwed up on the magazine year, it's a 1976. Sorry, maybe that won't make it quite as nice for your folder, Dusty.
Jody said a few days back, that he's got some '78 magazines headed his way, so you should still be able to get some good ones for your folder & have the appropriate year.
