Here are a couple of pictures of the various DW buckles that have been available:

(Wonder if the 1979 was the date the buckle was made?)

I'll submit mine to the list. Designed like the top one you posted Jody, but thinner frame at the edges & made at a different company.

(sorry for the blurry pic)

Thanks a lot guys, now I gotta buy a damn belt buckle

Steve

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

The early ones on eBay are starting to go pretty high.  I'm going to get one to stick in my 22 Mini-Pac.  I don't believe they actually came in them though.

As soon as I get my camera back I'll send in a picture of my Ebay find; the pistol on the front like the pewter buckle only brass.  I got it many years ago to use everyday and keep my original pewter one scratch free.  The picture showed an almost black buckle and didn't specify brass.  I paid $12.00 and was happy, but when it came in and I noticed it was thinner and lighter than my pewter, i took an eraser to the back and finished up with brasso to find a brass version.  I have only seen one other at a shot show and it was offered at $100.00 back in 1993.  The pewter buckle is pretty scratched up now; from years of use.

What a beauty!  I am just a little jealous of that find!!  $100 bucks in '93??  You sure it's not gold?…

And nice to see that you took Charger up on his suggestion - so I get to give you the official “welcome” (even though you were here before me…).

You look good with your nice new “name tag”.

Hey, lookie who joined up & is wearing his nice new red avatar!Laugh Welcome aboard, Robert!

That pewter one doesn't look too scratched from my vantage point, although there is a pretty big difference compared to the brass one. That's a good looking pair.Cool
