Thanks for posting that, Harly.
I've seen that somewhere before. I thought it was on the DWCA site, but I can't find it. This time I was able to find the February '69 cover...looks like they didn't make the cover.
There's no mention of DW on the cover, so I assume no article either. Does someone want to spend $20 to see if there's anything inside?

I wonder if some of the "fuss in the industry" Dan was referring to is the use of his family name on the revolvers.
I still recall McDonald's suing a woman in Scotland for copyright infringement, over using the McDonald name on her store front. Turns out she is a McDonald, of the clan McDonald. I guess the clan threatened to counter-sue McD's for copyrighting their family name, which went back many generations. McD's went away quietly.
On occasion I still see Dan Wesson revolvers advertised as "Dan Wesson of Smith & Wesson".

Copied from an email I received several months ago:
I am looking at, hanging on my office wall, the 1st DWA ever made by DWA. A
model 11; no serial #. It is mounted on a yellow plywood board in pieces. It was
the only gun use to advertise the original DWA, and the yellow board was carried
around from one gun show to the next.
Maybe the same gun?
Also FYI -752 Silas Deane Highway in Wethersfield, CT is currently the home of Mr. Sparkle Car Wash
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
