That's for sure!Laugh  Monson probably had some nice looking years, but it still doesn't compare to the great looking Norwich location.Cool

Wonderful post. I have to say I am ( from a distance) rather envious of anyone that got to( or still gets to ) work on a guns. I have been working on computers for close to 25 years now.. and as I look towards retirement... I know one thing I don't really want to .... more computers.  I would love to get to work with my hands (other than on a keyboard). I spoke with a guy today, he runs his own shop which works on machines (factory machines on production lines) on a side he also builds long range rifles. Very neat fellow, I had him do some work for me... sub-12 hour turn around.

Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box

in that order.

4 Monson Model 15's

1 Palmer FB 15

1 Rossi 357 Model 92 (lever)

Yes Dant, I loved reading your post too! If you can think of any more memories of the Monson factory, please post up!

Last time I did research on the original monson plant, it was pretty much deemed a toxic wasteland due to the chemicals that were in the soil beneath/around the plant.
