I purchased a 445 SuperMag from a fellow last year and he included his original paperwork with the gun. He had a letter from the Dan Wesson Arms Sales Office announcing they will start production of the 445 SuperMag in September. Unfortuantly the date is not on this letter. Based on the parts and price list I have it would be 1988. Does this sound correct?

Those are great, thanks for making those available, Jody!
I remember seeing that 'New Generation' flyer shortly after they came out, at my favorite dealer's catalog rack. I tell ya, I wanted one of those in a major way!
Just never ended up saving enough money to actually buy one. LOL! I think I'll try to rectify that little problem soon & add another DW to my little collection.

Nice work Jody & an excellent addition to the files archive.
Now I see where the ASG came from - what a beautiful picture of the compensated Supermag.
--->It looks like the introductory letter was written on a -uh, forgive the antiquated terminology here- typewriter...
For anyone else checking the posts - if you have similar documents (or any documents, from any time, for any model) please scan them and send them to the email address on the files tab. Any direct correspondence with the factories would be a great addtion to the files archive as well.
