I bought a DW 357 with a small pistol pack. This is the first one I have seen like this. It's 14"x8" can anyone give me details please?

That is a "Mini Pac" case, congrats on finding one!
I believe those were often sold to buyers who didn't want to opt for a full 4-barrel Pistol Pac, but did want an extra barrel & a nice place to store them. I also think that DW sold them as an empty case for a buyer to configure it how he pleased.
As you can see, that case is the perfect size for a pair of 4" DW's.
