I have been digging around for some info. on Korth revolvers winkand came across this indicating ties back to the K. Lewis design and DW back in late 60's.

Those Korth revolvers are beautiful guns representing tremendous craftsmanship and quality.   I know a lucky guy that has two of them. range-time

The 9mm Korth is the only 9mm revolver that is actually made from the start as a 9mm as opposed to .357 being used as the base starting point. i.e. frame and cylinder.

I have had several interesting conversations with Earl Sheehan.  If anyone lives near or is traveling near Pearisburg, VA a stop at his place will prove to be quite entertaining.  Of course an interest in Walther pistols and Korth revolvers adds to the enjoyment. His warehouse sized building is a museum as well as service facility for Walther and Korth.

He is not terribly excited about the new Korth products when comparing them to the original Korth revolvers.

His feelings center around the automated vs hand produced and fitted production methods.

Wow, a Dan Wesson that doesn't look quite as good as a Dan Wesson, with no spare parts availability, and only 15 times the price of a Dan Wesson.

. . .and they're surprised that they went broke . . ?
