This is my favorite Dan Wesson and I don't see that changing until I get a 445 Super Mag and not sure it will change then either.  Man this is a great gun.  It is HEAVY and it just devours recoil.  I am really hoping to be able to hunt whitetail with this big fella.IMG_0285.JPGImage Enlarger

Very Nice, and I think I see some possible 2016 Calendar photo entries there!

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Nice pics and thanks for showing it off. I hunted with my 10" for more than 20 yrs. It is great, but if you haven't in the past, pistol hunting takes some getting used to, to say the least. I love it.

Glad folks like the photos.  I sure like the gun.  Curious Cecil, did you use your own reloads for hunting?  If yes, what were you using in terms of bullet?  I reload and enjoy reloading for 44 mag.  I use plated 240 grain bullets and about 9.5 grains of Unique for range practice and a 240 grain Hornady XTP for my full power loads using H110 or POwer Pro 300-MP.

Any advice to pistol hunting would be great.  I am mostly a bow hunter but have used an in-line muzzle loader, slug gun and flintlock to take whitetail here in PA.

That is one nice looking DW.  A 10" 44 is on my wish list, for sure.

One on GB right now but Stainless and seen some 10" barrels on ebay.  I will be selling a S&W 629 classic with a SUPERIOR trigger to help fund additional Dan Purchases.  Oh yeah this DWAS thing is real and I thought getting this Big Fellow would cure it but no...
