Was at one of my LGS and for sale was a 357 Super Mag Pistol Pac. 8 & 6 inch barrels, tool & paperwork. The barrels are full and do not have the barrel slots. My question is, did DW (Monson) ever make such a pac!

To clarify, shrouds are vented not full lug and not slotted.

Nothing is ever for certain with Dan Wessons. It sure sounds like what they would do. I know they made 44 mag packs with 6 and 8 " BAs. They also had both ported and unported barrel tubes. The model 40 did not have powerported shrouds but was sold with a second barrel tube. Is there an extra tube for each length? That was Dan Wessons cure for forcing cone erosion. If it has the extra barrel tubes I would believe it is a factory pack.

Yes, 2 extra barrel tubes. Now off to my LGS to try to make a deal.

Took some dealing but was finally able to land the 357 Super Mag Pac. Has proper green label on the side of the case and came with extra 6” and 8” Barrel tubes. Not sure the combat grip is original.

Very Nice!
I think you are right about the grip. It is not a DW Combat grip. I think it is aftermarket, maybe Eagle. Someone else may know for sure.
