Ok I think this is at worst a fair deal, but I think I may be getting a decent deal. This would give me one small frame and one large frame in my DW collection.
Very little wear and a faint turn ring. The frame has that purple to it but like on my 1911's I not only don't mind it but I like the character.
And there is an extra 8" ported barrel???

The yellow plastic cylinder spacer is a sign the gun is either unfired or barely fired. They tend to get lost or thrown away quickly. There will be a cylinder line from the factory timing it and test firing it. I would not hesitate to finish the purchase. 2 hrs and it could be yours.

Well all of you did your job as enablers!!!! LOL I figured with my limited revolver knowledge this was more than a fair deal and all of you set my mind even more at ease. I am meeting him on Monday and if he is not a Photoshop expert it is coming home with me. Oh Kurt, it does have the proper tag on it's box thanks for pointing that out to check.

I made the trek there and back and I did not come back empty handed. Tom the owner was well versed in DW's and is/has been on our forum. I forgot to grab his screen name before we left, if he's lurking I'm sure he will chime in! It was as clean as the pics it does have some muzzle barrel wear and some on the frame. The turn ring is faint so probably not a whole bunch of rounds thru. The wear seems to be consistent with carry. Now a quick ? and then some pics. The rust inhibitor paper is date marked 1979, the information papers that came with it for warranty work, parts/accessory dealers was marked April 1981, so I would assume the barrel paper was old and the gun is of the early 80's? Just don't know the exact date.
