I have a bunch. They are called 44 mag. Even lighter is 44 Special. Just scrub the chambers well after use.

While not specific for 445 magnum, the Slix-Scraper for 44 magnum is great at scrapping away the carbon that builds up when shooting a lot of 44 Specials in a 44 Magnum chamber.

Never heard of these before, thanks for sharing.  How do they work?  How do you use them?

I’ll be able to give an actual report in a week or so, as I just ordered one in .357. Seems pretty straightforward though, just insert in chamber and turn with a screwdriver. I’ve been shooting mostly .38 Special in my magnums since the pandemic began, and although I’ve been able to keep the chambers clean by other methods I think this will make it easier.

The threaded part looks like it should be screwed onto a cleaning rod, but purely a guess on my part. Curious what they are made  out of.

Not so easy to access the chamber of a rifle, so the thread does indeed fit your rifle cleaning rod, and the tool is pulled from the muzzle end while turning. On a revolver it’s easier to simply use the screwdriver slot in the base. They are made from precisely fit hardened steel and blued.

Yes, that explanation helps a lot.  I’m gonna have to make it part of the cleaning regimen too.

I’m guessing you could shoot 44 Russian in your gun as well. I have shot them in my 44 Mag and it’s REALLY light.
