Hey Walt, there is really no difference in the guns, just the normal stuff such as blue or stainless, the plant of manufacture, and the BA package. The wide price range is just the delusions of the seller in my opinion. Others may have different theories.

Good morning
I would get the 445. Case length says you have much more versitility. Swap barrels. Plus get the right tension on that particular barrel and it will be a tack driver. All the 475 has going for it is a fatter hole. My experience with numerous (lots) of 41 mag Rugers is 50/50. And the 41's are supposed to be more hand fitted. All my DW's worked right from the start.
