Proud new owner of this unfired 45VH10 pac, thanks Stan! When I picked it up today and opened up the pac case, EVERYBODY at the gun store went ooooooh!! Ahhhhh!! ITS A DAN WESSON!!! LOL. That was a cool feeling!

That was a hard one to let go. One of the first guns I bought when I started collecting again! Well, it let me invest in the First Issue 45 Colt but I cried when I taped that box up to ship it! Another Stan original case though so you have two! That is one beautiful blued Monson 45 Colt. I scooped up those two other barrels just before they went out of stock also!

That is nice. Now you need a lever in .45LC to round out your combo !
I'd like to get a stainless with V6 or V8 shrouds.

Here are a few up close pics of that 45 Colt! I still have a box of tissues I have been using since the sale. I also noticed the other broken beat up one sold for $1500 last week so this one is sweet! I also noticed the serial number of the broken one was only 8 off from this gun (1082 vs 1076)

I was bidding on that beater, but somebody really wanted it more than me. It was too beat to be worth that much. I felt I could handle the mechanicals, but it needed a professional refinish. Just not worth it.

I was watching but, yes, to much cosmetic issues. But fortunately it was being sold by Shootstraight. They long ago banned me from bidding. They didn't like me correcting the bull in their writeups. I used to make them a bunch of money by my bidding.

There are a bunch of really well used, beat up Dan's on GB right now for stupid high prices. There's also a few nice guns for ridiculous money, ie that 732 that keeps going round and round. You'd think the seller would get the idea and adjust the price.
