Hi guys, It's been a little while since I stopped by here.  I have really been trying to curb my DWAS.  Unfortunately or more appropriately, fortunately I had the opportunity to purchase a Norwich 7414.  I picked it up last night.  She has SRS sights and was auctioned at the 1999 IHMSA Internationals in Ft. Stockton, TX.  The shroud is also engraved with this info.  I will give it a good cleaning and get some better pictures.  I now have all 3 stainless supermags.  1 from each plant.  I know the 7460 exists but I doubt I will be lucky enough to find one.7414.jpgImage Enlarger

Awesome find there Hosspower!  The SRS are just the coolest set-ups.  And the crown jewel of calibers too!

Thanks guys.

For supermags I have:

Monson - 740

Palmer - 7445

Norwich - 7414

Has a stainless 375-SM been caught on film?  The only blue large/supermag frames I own are (2) 44's.

Congrats on a great find, as far as finding a DW 7460 you just missed a great buy on Gunbroker!

That was good deal.  Like I say, I have been avoiding the gun broker temptation and didn't see it.  I was lucky enough to pay less than that for the 7414.big-grin

Great score Hoss, a 7414 SRS gun for under two grand is a steal.  gtdw

Nope, no such animal. The entire run of DW .375 SuperMags was in blue. The barrel itself is stainless...adds a certain coolness being visible in the shroud slots.

Glad everyone was busy last week.  I was mighty surprised to win the 7460. Bidder Snolover  got distracted by a pistol pack BIN I think and I lucked out.  It is arriving in a day or two.  It is not going to be a safe Queen. I may even use it for conceal carry if I can figure out how to camouflage it.

The 8" 414's with the slotted shroud and short underlug seem to be the most common by a healthy margin.  I believe that was the longest barrel configuration that met the weight limit for competition.

Here's my Norwich 6" 414 with full underlug.  It was special ordered in this configuration.

Very Cool to see another 7414, they are may favorite of all Supermags.  Great revolver you have there and the 6" are nice to handle.

I have not posted pictures of this gun for a long time but this is THE ONE you are missing, highlighted the ONE because there is only one 7460 Supermag. Wish I could find a 7414.

Dave,

Good to see you back here again!  Thanks for the post on the 460SM.  It needs to get on a calendar at some point.
