wondering what a fair price would be on a 744 with a heavy 6 inch barrel and 2 grips ?

In good condition I'd venture in the 700 plus dollar range.

Some time earlier this year I purchased a 744vh with an 8,6,4 inch barrel assemblies, each with ported/non ported replacement barrels. The gun is Monson-era (1983-4 according to catalog), is barely fired and the whole kit has a mirror polish like glass. It came with a zebra wood and rubber grips, but no original case . The price was $1300.00, and to me that's a bargain.
