It has been rather slow around the DWF Sign this week.  I have had a rough week at work to top it off.  Last night I decided for some feel good time to get the camera out and do some DW pic taking.  This 7445 was my very first Dan Wesson revolver with the 8" barrell.  Last year I decided to complete the 414 pack, this year the 445 pack, while parts are still made.

The lighting was really fighting me, but here they are:

Nice job and very cool layout.

Lighting is everything, and, not easy.

If you guys would like it, and Jody woul dmake them a sticky, I would

share some easy, not complex lighting techniques

and drawings for all. Straight forward, no computer tricks.

SMF, that's a fantastic looking Pac!Drool Nice use of a DWF shirt too, why haven't I thought of that??Screwy

Photo, lighting issues often kick my butt too, as do many of us. I often blame it on my little camera not having enough of an adjustment range...but it wouldn't surprise me if it ends up being only my fault.Embarassed A tutorial would certainly be welcomed, maybe PM Jody about it next week, when he's through dealing with funeral stuff.

SMF,

That's one fine looking 445 set.Drool  Do you keep the set in a case?  If so, what kind of case do you use to accommodate the 10" barrel?

I hear you on tough weeks.  I too have them from time-to-time.  When things get really tough, I often crawl into my "Man Cave" and immerse myself in my hobby...looking at, talking about, and accumulating Dan Wesson revolvers.  It's very therapeutic.

GG,

I have not spent the time yet to do any auxillary pac building like Shootist and CF.  It is on my long list of things to do.  I have a Winchetser suitcase for the 414 like you buy at the local gun store, the 445 is packed in the factory Norwich foam, they had all the cutouts already made for all four BA's in the factory packing.  I find the same thing when having a bad time of things, go crawl in the man cave for an eveningLaugh

That's an awesome pistol set. A grail of a set to keep. Congrats on that pick up.
