Thanks, I'll keep an eye on that auction for reference as I believe the seller is being somewhat over optimistic. A general consensus in the shotgun world is Ducks Unlimited Banquet guns detract from value; not sure how a handgun marked like these would be affected.

I don't think it will affect value much one way or another. Unless somebody has a 'Friends of the NRA' collection going I doubt it would fetch more and by the same token, I don't think it will detract from value either. It would make a great shooter regardless. I also think the seller is assigning extra value to the markings that aren't warranted IMO.

I agree with Scorpio on the value estimation. If anything, the unfluted cylinder should give it a $ boost. It should be a sweet shooter and if it were me I would have a very itchy trigger finger begging to be scratched!
