Its a Monson 745 4VH with a 4 didgit serial no. 45S0010xx.  It needs to be cleaned but doesn't appear to have been fired much.  No box or manual.  Came out of an estate sale.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Looks nice, Scorpio, and 4" barrel has to be fairly rare for a .45, maybe a good sidearm for bear country!

Very cool!  Great find no matter where or how you did it.  The 4" is very uncommon especially a Monson original.

I've got to take some more, I'll try to post some up tomorrow.  I cleaned the gun the other day and got it nice and clean  and ready for pics.

I see I smudged the gun handling it for the pics. That'll teach me to handle an oily gun with my bare handsyell.  Oh well.

Looks like a nice one.  If you can pick up a couple more era-correct barrels you'll have a really nice setup.

That should prove more difficult than finding the gun in the first place smile.  I have not had much luck lately with any BAs I've tried to buy.  I missed a 41 6V on GB last week and another on ebay.  I'll have to keep a sharp eye out for 745BAs now.
