That is flat out wrong - I'd be beyond pissed. You actually had an enforceable oral contract with an offer and acceptance. He could have been liable for the cost difference to you to acquire another .45LC. If he was local I wouldn't have hesitated to make a date in small claims court.

Sellers read the DWF too. I know my ffl buddy does. In todays internet age everyone is knowledgable buyers and sellers. Thanks SMKYTXN, I just learned a valuable lesson vacariously. Don't mention GTDW on the forum till it's in your hands.

We have known this for a couple of years, DWF is the authority on Dan Wesson revolvers, and the eBay, Gun Broker, etc. sellers absolutely lurk here.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Wow! I'm really sorry about your bad luck. That jerk is just plain a bad business person.
When I saw there were new posts to this thread this morning I thought I would add a pic of my 745VH6.
Not going to do that now. That would be like rubbing salt in a wound.
I hope you find another soon, and when you do it'll be in better condition.

On a somewhat happier note, my money order is finally back in Houston. It hasn't been delivered to me yet, but at least it's not in Indiana. The seller couldn't even go to the post office and send it back to me. I had to wait for the letter to be labeled unclaimed before the post office would send it back.

So sorry to hear that SMKYTXN,
I had been screwed over by a local dealer not to long ago on a DW. Never step foot in that door again! Anyways I feel your pain, and there blacklisted in my book.
