I had a heck of a time trying to find this thread again, it's posted to the Dan Wesson Small Frame Revolvers section.  Anyway, mine is SB001489.  Wonder what is the difference in serial numbers???

Fixed.Wink Great looking pair-o-44's Harly, thanks for showing them off!Cool Pics

Mox, the "letter, letter, number" was used before the "caliber, letter, number" s/n styles. I think the "letter, letter" style was only used for a couple years, based on my entirely flawed current opinion.rofl

Consecutive serial numbers are cool to have.  Likely means little in their value, but very cool still.  Between Zoommb and me we have three consecutively numbered 7414's.  I do know where a consecutive .375SM is to the one I own, it is with another member as well.  Just fun to keep track Laugh
