Must be my lucky day. I got up to go #1 (prostate thank you) and took a look at Gun Broker. I was upset that I got out bid on the 2nd 32-20 yesterday and just got out bid on the 41 Mag that's also there, both guns I need to complete the collection when this gem popped up. It was a starting bid of $1475 and buy now $1650. I do not know much about this IHMSA guns gut a serial number of #39 and the custom barrel WOW. Then it got better. the guy told me he had another gun not listed yet a 41mag! Are you kidding me? A 741 mag and he sold it to me for $1100 no tax free ship. got both guns for $2900 shipped. I did have to pay tax on the first gun but I can live with that! Now i'm on my way to buy a lottery ticket! These pics are not good as I do not have the guns in my hand yet!

Maybe the barrel is not custom. I got so excited it looked like other custom barrel shrouds I have seen. I'm still a happy camper!

I saw that too but I promised my wife I would try to go a month without buying a gun. 3 weeks to go. It is a really good deal. The serial number is the IHMSA members membership number. An early member for sure but not an early gun. The slots are standard on the 8" VH shroud in order to make weight limit.
Great price on both guns. IHMSA doesn't have the same premium that an ETG serial number has.

I now have two 7445's maybe I can trade one for a 32-20? I have this gun and also a 7445 Palmer 8VH-C it's a beauty also!

A "nicer guy" might sell me that 7445VH8C for what he paid for it in July.

I'm keeping it unless I can trade it for a 32-20. I paid $1767 but after tax and shipping it was $1927 I do like this gun maybe better than the one I just got only because it's in the original box and paperwork. If some member has a 32-20 in original box I would consider trading either 7445 for it.

Can't believe it I sniped another gun just now. It's been a good week! Been following the gold commemorative that was on gunbroker. Starting bis was $1999 and it had been 5 days no bid so I contacted the seller directly after a little detective work. Made an offer of $1800 two days ago they did not go for ir but they called me back just now and accepted it. Best thing is it's off the gunbroker so no tax. Ended up paying $1850 including shipping and no tax! It never hurts to contact sellers directly on gunbroker you never know! not as good a deal as the other member who got one for $1000 but still a pretty good deal!
