There's a couple of current threads about folks looking for 45's or 45 barrel assemblies.  Since my 745 is my favorite Dan that I would show it off a little.  So if you have one as well show it off here!

You have the love the custom LB Grip on the 745!  The VH4 that's shown is the Norwich variation.  I have added a Monson VH4 assembly to the collection since them.

The photo below shows the 745 wearing the LB grip and a V6 assembly along with the Dan Wesson holster.745_Holster_01.JPGImage Enlarger

What is better than a DW 745? Well a 745 and a 744 both wearing LB grips!

We love pictures here so share them if you have them!

Here's mine.  It was in sad shape cosmetically when I got it. It looked as if it had been bouncing around in the tool box of a pickup for a couple of years.  Some fine-grit sandpaper and scotch-brite fixed the stainless. The grips were shot, although I sent them to someone here and he rescued them for himself.  I decided to have LB do new grips in figured walnut, and use the factory medallions. Turned out fantastic.

I have never seen a Dan in 45LC, those are some beauties, love the grips on zoomb gun.

i have a friend in turkey looking for some exhibition grade walnut for a few sets of grips for my 1911s and large frame Dans, will have LB make them for the revolvers.

Here is another 745 that I would like to share with you guys.  This is a Palmer made unfired 745 with the 4", 6" and 8" barrel assemblies.  You have to love the unflutted cylinder (I guess you don't but you would crazy!).  Just another photo to fuel DWAS!

If I ever stumbled across a 745, I would very carefully evaluate everything in my safe to figure out how to bring it home.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Monson production, 6" barrel sporting LB Customs LB Special grips made from Ohio cherry wood, with a gloss finish. Since there are other 745 owners posting here, anyone know what leather holsters work for these or do I need to have a custom one made? Thanks!745.jpgImage Enlarger

All I can say is I'm glad my search is over, as for the holster any holster that will fit the large frame should fit the .45lc.

So, I found a holster that works perfectly for it, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what exactly I needed as a lot of the holster companies don't have DW's listed any longer; I ordered a Bianchi 5BHL, for my 6" 745 as it was listed for the Colt Anaconda (thanks pops2 for the tip) and when it arrived today, it lists the Anaconda, the DW .41/44 mag, Ruger Redhawk 44 mag all on the package. When I got it out, on the back of the holster is stamped DW .44 right under the model, and it fits like a glove.

To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:

if you find one...what's your plan?
