just a note on the HK 93....the flutes really don't damage the brass.... its when the extractor pulls the case out and it hits the back of the ejection port is what puts the dent in it....my HK43 (223) throws brass 25-30 ft to the shooters 1 o'clock....the 93's I have shot seem to throw the brass a little less so...maybe they eased up on the extractor spring or something for the (civilian) guns....iam not a reloader but I guess running them thru a resize die may work..

I appreciate the post Al.
I have a bunch of reloading equipment my Dad gave me, but I have never used it. However, the denting occurs at the base of the rounds on the edge of the round just above the base of the brass above the primer, where the extraction pulls the round from the chamber. It doesn't occur at the throat of the rounds.
There is no way to run them through a die to resize the round.

This has gone WAY off topic, including .22 lr rifles and tutorials on cleaning autoloading pistols.
This Topic is about Dan Wesson stainless .44 Magnum revolvers, let's keep it there
In addition, something in this Topic is lighting up my Malware Protection, be advised

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Matt-
I won't delete, there is good info here, and I don't really want to be a "Forum Nazi".
Lesson for all of us (maybe ME most of all), let's stay on Topic
Steve
ps- on the subject of malware, anti-virus, etc.: If you don't protect yourself and your devices with the best programs/apps/utilities you can find, Shame on You!
