I bought this off Armslist, which I have since found out is rife with scammers. I've encountered one of them since but didn't get taken. However, this seller was a solid guy. He had purchased this from someone else and shot it very little himself. He provided all the pictures I asked for and handled the transaction very professionally, very conscientiously. I've since had a 4" barrel made, a VH4, made by EWK. Excellent work. This is the gun in my signature. I've changed the grip to a Pachmayr Presentation Decelerator grip.

There is only a very light turn line on the cylinder and some marks on the barrel shroud, but all in all, in very good condition. I found that the front sight had been lock-tighted to the shoud which I doubt the seller knew. I may have EWK get it out so it will be replaceable again since I now have the 4" barrel AND are in the beginning throws of winter here in Vermont when range time is definitely at a premium. I was very pleased with the condition of the gun. It was better than the pictures.

I shoot at an outdoor range at a higher elevation than my house. So, it usually colder and snowier than here in the valley. Sometimes it's not plowed out. On the other hand, I've had some absolutely wonderful days at the range, all by myself wth a light snow falling. Those have been some of my favorite times, unhurried solitude.
