I just found out today an old friend passed away. Mike Rowles, known here and on other forums as Mr. DW, was a silhouette shooter in the Cincinnati area then went to work as a Dan Wesson Field Rep at the factory. Later he came back to Ohio to retire. He was instrumental in getting the SRS-1 Super Ram Silhouette series revolvers into production, doing a lot of the testing.
In 2005, he sold me the development gun for the SRS-1, a V10S in .41 Magnum.
This is now one of my most prized firearms. I plan to honor Mike's memory by shooting it the next time I go to the range.
I have no further details about his passing.

Thanks for letting us know Dean. It would have been nice to have met him in person.

I met Mike last year during the tres banditos shoot at the tusco silhouette range. He was a great guy to be around. I couldn't stop talking to him about the 7360 he had with him and the DW history he knew.
He will be missed by many.
