The slotted SM are aesthetically pleasing to me. I had L.B. make me 2 new custom grip for my new unfired SM pistols. They are the .357 SM and the 375 SM. L.B. really brings some class to any Dan Wesson. Thanks so much L.B.! 
If you wonder about the pipes. I don't smoke I just collect them for the beautiful wood.
The grip on the left is Black & White Ebony. The grip on the right is Crotch Walnut.

I agree, those SM's really shine with those cool LB grips.
It's really hard for me to pick a favorite between those two.
I'm with ya, the slotted .357 & .375 SM's have an aesthetic appeal for me also!

Those are two beauties there and what a awesome scenic back
ground you have. As spectacular as L.B. grips are we have to
remember to change them out when we go shooting to keep
them pristine.
You know Dan Wesson was a visionary. He knew how to make
his pistols even more awesome looking with beautiful grips.
He also included a block of wood for the shooter to design
his own. I'm sure he would be really proud of what L.B.
has done for the grips of his DW design. For those of us who
can't build our own there is the master L.B.
