Hey guys! Well, here is that old “diamond in the rough” I rescued a few weeks back. I think it’s looking pretty good compared to what it used to. I was able to remove a lot of the rust from the pitting. Sanded and polished the shroud and frame until I got it close to looking like the original finish. Replaced the front sight and barrel nut with parts from EWKarms. Slicked up the trigger and then slapped a Hogue grip on it. Now, all I have to do is go sight it in. Man, am I looking forward to that! I want to thank all of you who helped answer my questions along the way. You guys have been a big help. Quite the difference you've made there. I'd say that you cleaned it up quite nicely.
It's like night and day, when you look at both the before and after pictures.
That was definitely a job well done!
