Hello all,

I'm curious is anyone had a better idea than just getting taller burris rings.

After converting to a Bomar rear many  years ago, the heavy scoped shroud has been stilling lonely. After 15 years or so I think I wanna play with the scope again without removing the Bomar (plus the pin doesnt want to come out and I forget if staked or not. The scope will not clear it as is.

Plus a few pictures to enjoy :)

That Bomar rear sight doesn't have a pin in it.  It's screwed into the top strap.  Take out the elevation screw and flip up the leaf.  You'll see the screw securing it to the top strap.  The sight will come off in 60 seconds or less.  Just take it off and forget the higher rings.

It has been so long that I built the gun I forgot!  Thanks.

Believe it or not, I'm an old member but recall who, what and what email I used way back :)  I've recently caught a whiff of GAS and made me want to play with my rig more. Ha
