Hello Gents,
A few weeks back I had the chance to buy a Dan Wesson 44MAG. Unfortunately, all that was available were a couple fuzzy pictures and the sellers inability to read (couldn't tell me where the revolver was made, only Massachusetts).
Well I made him an offer of 650CDN and he accepted. So all I had to do was wait . . . well it showed up today. The pistol, two extra grips, an extra barrel (ported), a couple of sites, shim and from the looks of it a homemade barrel wrench (at least it does look stock).
From the looks of it, I got a good deal: the blueing is great, the lock-up is tight and oh yeah it's was made in Monson, Mass 😀

I've got to hit the range soon but untill then I'll do some cleaning and "fondling" 😉
There was a fellow looking for a set of Zebra-grips locally and now I know why, very striking wood. Perfect for grips.

I really like the model 44 you got there. I have one also, but mine is a little beat up and no Zebra grip. Very good score!
