Picked this up off Gunbroker (44 Mag), kinda rough looking in the pics, bluing was all mottled, on the frame and barrel, got it cheap though I thought. Got it home today and with a little TLC, and swapped out the grip, and I thought it turned out looking pretty good. I seems to have some unusual sights on it, haven't seen any like them before. Barrel is stainless and both the barrel and shroud are ported. Best of all it locks up like a bank vault. Anxious to sight it in.

Be careful if you shoot it with the ported barrel. The garbage build-up in the "expansion chamber" area of the shroud gets really nasty and can even "weld" the shroud to the barrel. Clean often. A 12ga. bore brush will help get the shroud clean.
However, the effects of the ported barrel are minimal. I only shoot my 744 with the un-ported barrels. The clean-up effort is just not worth it, IMHO.
Those sight mounts look very similar to but not the same as, the ones Leupold made at one time. Maybe they are marked inside. People here would love to find another source for that type of sight mount since the Leupold's are scarcer than hen's teeth and go for a fortune when they come up for auction.
Gun looks great; beautiful grips.
Enjoy your new toy.
