Yea I know you are all sick of me by now and most of you have far better collections than I do but take in consideration I did not have one Dan Wesson a year ago and I did not even know what a Supermag was let alone these other calibers 32-20, 45 Colt, 32 Magnum, 38+P fixed barrels, commemoratives and all the different Supermags. I also have original boxes or cases for all of them. I could have bought a nice Chevy SSR with this money but out here where we live the rats keep eating everything under a hood. Anyway I hope you like it. Not much to add except the really rare $$$$ stuff! Someday I will get a Norwich pac! Click on the pic twice to open window then click again to blow up the pic!

Dang - that's a nice collection by any terms and certainly a lot to assemble in 1 year. I would almost bet there's not a spouse that's overseeing what's going on here. I don't think I'd agree with your statement ".....and most of you have far better collections than I do but...".

Stan, I must say you have done quite an amazing job building that collection in under a year...and to think that for a while there, I thought I had it bad...ya know...
The display wall is particularly cool, I'm kinda bummed I didn't think of that myself. Instead I made "Pac" cases for most of mine, and have them all hidden from immediate sight. Way to go, man.

Old time wood paneling. My dad built this place in 1972. This is a guest house I turned into a gun room. No spouse she divorced me in 1998. Managing a Hooters did not help. That was a bad choice on my part. Too bad she was a good one! The place is heavy duty with padlocks. It would take a sledge hammer or more to get in and I have cameras and insurance! We also have 5 acres and are in a rural area not many people mess with us in New River. Also have a nice pit bull that keeps an eye on the compound! People are moving in closer and closer though may have to move one day but mom is 86 now she does not want to go anywhere. Pics of the place and other things I collect and a pic of why i'm divorced!

I was master of ceremonies for all the AZ Hooters shows 1995 thru 1998 due to my stage experience and also being a DJ. Sure got me in trouble with the then wife! This pic is quite old. Everyone will like where they live better. In Illinois you have to deal with snow and cold but the summer is beautiful by the looks of your pic you have quite the spread. I love a nice lawn I had one when I lived in town. I would never deal with snow and cold weather that's why we get so many snow birds. Florida is just as hot as AZ but the humidity is so bad. I played golf there for one year and thought I was going to die. I had to quit on the 15th hole and my ears were so sunburned they peeled. AZ can be so hot in the summer it's like being in an oven but most of the time it's a dry heat. We live here for the winters when it's 80 in February. Also we live only 1.5 hours from the mountains so a nice getaway in the summer. We have a place in forest lakes where we can spend time but mom is getting too old to go up anymore. I guess if I were rich I would have a place on the west coast somewhere in Ventura. I lived there in the 80's and it was pretty perfect. Everywhere has some drawbacks Ventura had the winds and the sea spray in the winter but that stretch from Venture north to Hurst Castle is breathtaking. I guess the forum should add a spot under pictures called "My Dan Wesson Home"! Nobody said anything about me being a ford guy! That's my 1993 fox Body 5.0 California Special Mustang and the 2005 50th annv Thunderbird. When is Ford going to bring back the Thunderbird?

Well I hope the next Thunderbird is a ford not a Jaguar like mine. The whole car has Jaguar parts and $$$$ The engine is a great small block V8 and runs so well but of course they made the cooling system out of plastic and it failed. They made it so hard to work on I finally got it replaced. Battery is in the trunk and hard to get to. The spare tire is some special size you can only buy from one maker Maxi and costs $250. Engine, tranny, rearend, all Jaguar and most of the palles are plastic. (hood, trunk lid, front fenders. With that said It's a ugly yet beautiful car and a great spring training car to run around in. Has the bug eye headlights from the first year Corvette. I hope the new Thunderbird has a coyote engine in it and there better be a convertible.
