This just arrived today and I'm very pleased with the workmanship and service from DW/CZ in Norwich, NY.

Beauty! It is good to get some feedback here once in a while about DW/CZ, that their quality and service are still high.

It is just my opinion, but I really think a blued Supermag with vented, slotted shroud is one of the most beautiful, toughest looking revolvers ever.

   Thanks for the pics, Jaggman.

Not to hijack the thread, but I have a 741-SRS with the underside slots.

Dang Jagg, that looks really good!drool  Comparing pictures, your slots look a little longer than the ones in Dean's gun.

I have a spare 10" BA for my .44 that I plan to send in for the very same amount of slots. Thanks for the preview of what mine will look like, if I ever get off my butt & do it.laugh

Jag, did they slot an existing barrel shroud for you or did you have them make you a new slotted BA?  How bad did they beat you up for that?  I've always wanted a slotted blue BA and if its not too bad, I may get DW to make me one also.

BTW drooldrool  that is a real work of art.

Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

It's all new and went for the price of a descent 15-2.  yell But I think it was worth it. That's all that matters, right?

Upon close examination I believe mine are longer than Dean's even with the beveled ends. I didn't specify the length on the slots but am pleased with them.

Send yours in for the slots. They alone won't be that pricey. occasion
