I have noticed several SuperMags with no Dan Wesson roll stamp on the shroud, just the cartridge designation. Why is this? I have seen this on 357SMs only, blue and SS.

Monson shrouds have the two line roll mark, where Palmer has a single line stamp and Norwich has a single line acid etch.

Actually, I think the Norwich is laser etched...
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Actually, all the info is on the forum. You just have to have DWAS and read everything you can find. And buy, buy buy. Around 1991 Dan Wesson Arms became Wesson Firearms and Monson was closed. Large frame guns were all made at the Palmer facilities including Supermags. Up until 91 they were rolled Monson with the 2 lines on the shroud.

BTW, there was a short period where Palmer shrouds were shipped with Monson frames as they were changing facilities...like my "bear" gun, for example.
But that class test on this will be held at a later date.

Dave, I will take a picture and see if Snake-eye or Stinger will post it. It was on Gunbroker recently. There doesn't seem to be many of them out there. I also have an unused 32-20 cylinder that has storage rust I mean to send to EWK for polishing and rebluing. I intend to add that to a 32 mag Field Pistol Pack. Another of those I may never shoot. Or add it to a 32 mag V8 and shoot it. I really like 32 mag. I also have a Ruger SP 101, a NEF 732 and a Taurus M731. All in 32 mag. I bought them for the wife. The one she likes is the Taurus.
