Welcome!  What caliber are we looking at here?  Who made that compensator?  Looks nice.

.44 Mag, compensator by EWK. Said 'stainless' when I ordered, but ended up more... 'grey'. I like the looks anyways.

EWK makes the best aftermarket parts for our guns.  You could possibly polish the comp. to a higher luster.

I meant to ask before, but it is a Monson, SB009700's. I've heard there were "good" and "not so good" makes. Does anyone know what mine might be?

They're all good- it's normally a previous owner's fault if one is bad.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
