My all time greatest find was from there. I was told  by Scout 728 about it. for whatever reason at that time he did not want it or just being nice he knew I was looking for a 32-20! Yes there it was a Palmer/Monson 32-20 Hunter pac brand new in the original case for $1399. still can't believe it! My most prized gun besides the First Issue 715 PAC! Of course I paid 3 times that for the PAC! The Gun Library does give up some good deals now & then. I think Scout picked up a 744 for $700 there not too long ago! all hail the Cabela's Gun Library!!!

So it's a Palmer barrel shroud and a Monson frame. I was told by Eric Wesson that when they took over the Monson and moved it to Palmer they had to get a new FFL and could not longer sell the Monson frames under the Palmer FFL so he told me they used the leftover Monson frames for salesman samples and used to show off their product at gun shows. So he concluded that this gun was a sample used by a salesman or a product shown at a gun show and then was either given to a salesperson for a good job or gift. As you know the company went bankrupt again in 1995 so Palmer was not around very long before it was sold to Bob Serva!
