I am trying to troubleshoot an issue I've been having with my model 44. I'm having issues with the cylinder not rotating after firing. It looks like high primers are causing my issues. I've been using the same load for a while now and I haven't had problems before but I'm using a new lot of powder and new lot of primers. My load data: Load: 240gr Bayou bullet coated. 23.5gr W296, MV 1400-1435 fps. (Pulled this from a RCBS manual that lists 22.7-24.5gr of W296 for a 240gr lead bullet. I got primers that were about .004" to .006" high with both 23gr and 23.5gr of W296. I started looking at the gun and noticed the firing pin bushing was a little below level with the frame. Is this normal? Has anyone replaced the firing pin bushing before? Thanks for the input. Pictures are below.

First thing to check is the barrel-cylinder gap. If you have it set tight, after a few rounds the metal expands and may cause the cylinder to meet the barrel. The face on many cylinders don't rotate "true". Set the gap at ~.004" on the most proud chamber and try it again.
Fired primer looks fine, BTW.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
